Join the March on Washington, 60 Years Later

This year’s March on Washington 60th anniversary event is a continuation, not a commemoration.

And when it's time to show up for equality, freedom and justice, the labor movement delivers. That’s why we’re inviting you to join us for this inspiring event.

Labor Continues the March Toward Justice

When: Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023
Program: 8 a.m.–1 p.m.
March: 1–3 p.m.

We’ll be offering water and placards. For more information on logistics or transportation, please plan to coordinate with your international union. The nearest Metro stops are Federal Triangle and Smithsonian.

We’ll be honoring organizers’ vision by taking collective action to end systemic injustice, protect our rights at the voting booth and our freedom to organize and more.

Speakers will include AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler, AFL-CIO Secretary-Treasurer Fred Redmond, AFSCME President Lee Saunders, AFT President Randi Weingarten, Rev. Al Sharpton, Martin Luther King lll, Arndrea Waters King and more.
